The Impact of Good Governance on the Effectiveness of Public Oversight and the Quality of Public Services - A Field Study

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between the application of good governance principles, public oversight, and the improvement of the quality of public services provided to citizens. Good governance is considered a crucial element in enhancing transparency,accountability, and administrative efficiency in delivering public services. The study was conducted on a sample consisting of employees from various public administrations and citizens benefiting from different public services. The findings revealed that good governance,encompassing transparency, accountability, and administrative efficiency, leads to improved public oversight effectiveness, which significantly contributes to enhancing the quality of public services.
